Women in the City

Ellas en la ciudad focuses on the generation of women who inhabited the suburban neighborhoods built in the 1970s. Through their lives in three districts of Seville, we discover how they have been the backbone of a city that turns its back on them. Their stories touch on gender, caregiving, urban planning, education, and political struggles. Their testimonies are essential to understanding, from a gender perspective, the cultural heritage of our country and the transformation of our cities over the past 50 years.
